This giant annual parade marks the unofficial start of the Christmas season in Halifax. Thousands will jam the downtown to see bands, floats, entertainers, and, of course, Santa Claus. It begins at 6 p.m. on Upper Water Street, continuing down Barrington Street to Spring Garden Road, then down South Park Street to University Avenue, ending at the corner of Robie Street.
